What is Numa House ?
Numa House is a 5-star private holiday villa to rent, offering a new way to experience Bordeaux and its vineyards. This premium retreat offers an exclusive setting for holidays, weekend getaways or wellness retreats, all in complete privacy : enjoy a lap pool, personalized wellness experiences, such as massages and Yoga, and top-tier services for a truly luxurious stay in the heart of the Gironde.

How can I book a stay at Numa House ?
Book directly on the Numa House website for the best available rate. Simply click any “BOOK” button on the site to access our professional booking platform.
Then select your dates, add your extras, and complete your stay securely with Payzen.
Which payment methods are accepted ?
Bookings are made exclusively by bank card through our secure online payment partner Payzen.
Extras, on-site services are charged to the card registered in the booking file. If a guest wishes to pay separately, a secure payment link can be sent via SMS or Whatsapp. Cash payments are also accepted.
What are the cancellation and refund policies ?
Guests may cancel or reschedule their booking for a full refund up to 30 days before arrival. Between 30 and 7 days prior, 50% of the booking amount will be retained. No refunds are possible less than 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show.

Numa House is ideally located in Cambes, in Gironde, a charming village on the banks of the Garonne River.
Just 20 minutes to the vibrant Bordeaux city center and its rich historical heritage, the Ecovilla also serves as the perfect base for exploring the vineyards (Saint-Emilion is 40 minutes away), while the Atlantic coast is over an hour’s drive, making it ideal for day trips to ocean beaches.
Is the Villa easily accessible from Bordeaux ?
Yes, Numa House is very accessible from Bordeaux. Cambes is located on a main departmental road, providing a direct route from Bordeaux’s riverfront in just 15-20 minutes by car. Guests at Numa appreciate this convenient location, offering quick access from the city, allowing to return in the evening to the quiet private villa.
Is there nearby overlooking neighbors ?
Neighboring houses are set at a comfortable distance and hidden behind lush, ever-growing hedges, ensuring complete privacy with no overlooking views.
Are there any restaurants close to Numa House ?
Cambes offers a renowned riverside restaurant and numerous dining options within 15 minutes.
From countryside tables to Michelin-starred venues, Gironde is a true gastronomic destination, and our favorite addresses are shared in the digital guestbook.
Are there any shops nearby?
The Ecovilla is conveniently located with many shops nearby. Within 5 minutes by car, you’ll find bakeries, pharmacies, butcher, florist, and two small markets.
For larger shopping, a supermarket is 10 minutes away and a hypermarket about 15 minutes. All addresses are listed in the digital guestbook.
Are there any local open-air markets nearby ?
Nearby open-air markets let you discover the flavors of Southwest France and local craftsmanship. Highlights include Créon on Wednesdays (15 min), Montségur on Fridays (45 min) with its historic hall, and Capucins Market in Bordeaux. In summer, don’t miss the evening gourmet markets for a taste of local conviviality.
What are the check-in and check-out times ?
Check-in at Numa House is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and check-out is by 10 a.m. Please let us know your expected arrival and departure times so we can prepare accordingly.
Outside July and August, early check-in or late check-out options may be available for an extra fee, depending on availability.
Can we arrive before the standard check-in time ?
Outside peak season (July and August), early check-in may be available for an additional fee, subject to villa availability.
In any case, a luggage storage service is provided, allowing you to drop off your bags and enjoy the region before settling in.
Is there a garage or private parking ?
Numa House offers a private, well-lit parking area on the property for up to three vehicles. While there is no enclosed garage, the parking is reserved exclusively for guests and provides direct access to the villa.
Is there an electric vehicle recharge station ?
No, Numa House does not have a charging station on-site. However, we can guide you to nearby public charging points.
Is the villa suitable for children ?
Yes, Numa House regularly welcomes families with children. Babies and young children are welcome, and on request we provide a wooden crib, high chair, and baby bathtub.
The lap pool corridor has an electric safety cover for secure supervision.
Note: The rear terraces are suspended and, while equipped with railings, are not suitable for crawling babies. Extra vigilance is recommended for toddlers.
How many bedrooms and beds does the villa have ?
Numa House has three bedrooms, each part of a spacious suite of at least 25 m². Two suites feature queen-size beds (160 cm), while the largest suite has a king-size bed and also accommodates a baby crib—ideal for families seeking both comfort and space.
Are basic essentials provided ?
Yes, Numa House provides essential items to help you settle in comfortably, while you do your own grocery shopping : garbage bags, laundry and dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar, pasta, and some Nespresso capsules.
For added convenience, you can use our Drive service to have your groceries delivered and your fridge stocked before your arrival.
Is the villa suitable for guests with reduced mobility ?
Although Numa House is single-level, it is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users due to the layout of the showers and the stepped access path to the villa.
How is the villa air-conditioned and heated ?
Yes, each suite at Numa House is air-conditioned for optimal comfort in summer. Heating is provided by reversible units in the suites and an automatic pellet stove in the living area, ensuring a premium and relaxing experience year-round.
Are breakfasts included ?
No, breakfasts are not included, as Numa House is a holiday rental and not a bed and breakfast.
However, optional full breakfasts, designed as mini-brunches, can be ordered 48 hours in advance—perfect for your first morning or as a treat during your weekend stay.
Is the on-site massages space open to public ?
No, the massage area is a private and exclusive space reserved solely for Numa House guests. It is not open to outside visitors, ensuring a relaxing and personalized experience for you and your group during your stay.

Is the villa non-smoking ?
Yes, Numa House is strictly non-smoking, both indoors and on all terraces, due to its wooden construction and fire risk. For safety, smoking is strictly prohibited.
E-cigarettes are not allowed indoors but may be used outside.
Are pets allowed ?
No, pets are not permitted at Numa House. However, you may meet Yuzu, our orange cat, who freely roams the villa’s garden.
